Two brothers, one childhood, one observation
We are Nadhem and Kacem — two brothers, both engineers, born and raised in El Haouaria, a coastal village on the northern tip of Tunisia.
Our childhood was outdoors. Friends everywhere, animals in the neighborhood, the rocky beach fifteen minutes away. We built huts out of bamboo and leftover wood. We climbed things we probably shouldn't have. We fell. We got back up. Our parents trusted us to figure it out, and that trust slowly turned into real capability.
Today we live in Paris. Smaller apartments, louder screens, faster mornings. We noticed something simple, almost obvious, once we had it in front of us: the modern world isn't built at a child's height. Kitchens are out of reach. Sinks are too high. Counters belong to adults. So children are asked, all day long, to watch instead of do. We think that's a quiet problem with loud consequences.
FoxiZ is our response. Simple, safe tools designed to put children back into the real moments of family life — without demanding more time, energy or patience from parents who already give plenty.
Why the fox, why the Z
🦊 Behind the name
The fox is resourceful. It adapts to any environment, figures things out, finds a way through. That's the kind of capability we want to give children.
The Z is for their generation — the ones growing up surrounded by screens, schedules, and distractions designed to keep them still. Foxiz is the bridge between the two: timeless child development, modern everyday life.
🪵 What we build, and what we refuse to build
Every FoxiZ product is engineered first, designed second. We are not decorators. We come from engineering, and it shows: joints that hold, surfaces that wipe clean, wood that doesn't flex under a child's weight, no exposed screws where small fingers go.
We will never launch a product that makes a child passive, replaces participation with distraction, or sacrifices real use for a prettier photo. That rule has cost us products we considered promising. We keep it anyway.
🛡️ Tested before shipped
Every FoxiZ product goes through structural safety testing and third-party certification (CPC for the U.S., compliant with EN71 European standards) before it reaches a family. We're small, we're new, and our credibility is what we have. We're not willing to risk it.
